Senior WordPress Developer (Remote)

Iconic create and maintain a number of premium plugins for WooCommerce, giving store owners access to complex functionality and enabling them to earn more money.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized individual to join our team and help us improve some of our most important plugins, as well as create some new ones!

This role is remote, so your location doesn’t matter, as long as you’re a good communicator, know your stuff, and can work independently.

Job Type: Contract or Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a
Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere.

Responsibilities

As an Iconic developer, you’ll have a big hand in developing new plugins and improving our suite of existing ones – pretty exciting! 

You’ll be working on the following:

  • Developing new features for our collection of PHP-based WooCommerce plugins.
  • Developing new plugins to expand our ever-growing collection.
  • Hunting down bugs when they occur and working out the solution.
  • Communicating with Iconic customers when there’s a technical support issue.
  • Updating the Iconic website with landing pages, improvements, and implementing new designs.

Requirements

  • Proficient with WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, HTML, JS, CSS, Sass, and Git.
  • Knowledge of Object Orientated Programming (OOP).
  • Proficient in the English language (written).
  • Great problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with modern JS frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js).
  • UX and design skills.
